Rosshead Housing is a supported housing service based in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire. The service is Care Inspectorate registered for 10 individuals and caters for service users with a range of support needs such as addictions, homelessness, relationship breakdown and mental health issues.
The service is a large 10 bedroom house close to the scenic shores of Loch Lomond and is accessible to the town centre and local amenities such as the Vale swimming pool, gym, various supermarkets and GP services.
The organisation is fully staffed 24 hours a day including a waking night shift by experienced staff members. The management and staff are qualified in line with Scottish Social Service Council requirements for registration and have vast experience of leading various teams.
We aim to enable individuals to fully maximise their independence and we use a person centred and flexible support plan for each service user specific to their individual circumstances. We use the “Better Futures Outcomes” Tool to chart progress, identify goals and we review these monthly with you.
We also have a clearly defined service user involvement strategy to ensure that all our service users are involved in all aspects of the service including staff recruitment, therefore ensuring the highest quality of support is received and to enable them to be involved with the running of the service. We have also recently introduced a care at home service where we provide support to individuals within their own home. To read more about this service please see our Care At Home page.
